Waking Life Festival - Portugal

“Waking Life grew out of a common dream of a group of friends to build a community, in a sunny spot on the planet, to plant ideas and harvest tangible and alternative ways of living, learning and loving. It is slowly becoming a space for artistic experimentation, lively self-expression and collective imagination of the kind of society we might cultivate if there were freedom to depart from default reality.

Speaking of default reality, on the administrative side, Waking Life is a non-profit association registered in Portugal, operating largely on a voluntary basis.
